2. Take a copy of the Online Content Only certificate to the pool to prove you have passed the online course. Complete the in-water skills session with the ARC instructor, who will issue a STSC In-Water Skills Session certificate. Send both certificates to your LSC registrar. The earlier of the two expiration dates will determine the STSC credential expiration date.

✓ Buying advertising is a systematic process. All media purchases require frequency to test their success. No two lead generation plans are the same, so copying competitors is not the answer. Monitor ad results at least quarterly. Dump the losers, boost the winners, and test additional options. Never use one lead generation source, however tempting. If it unexpectedly turns sour you're out of the recruitment business.
The first three points in this startup checklist basically require you to do adequate research into your market. You have to know what the value of your offering is to the people you are offering it to. For example, there's no point in pricing your premium content at $3 a posting when the exact same content is being given away at a larger, more established site.

You must make your site as easy to use as possible. Potential customers won't waste their time trying to work out how to use your site. If it's not immediately obvious how they can get what they want, they won't do it. Not only should the UI (User Interface) be optimized, but the site itself should be designed to make it as easy as possible for visitors to convert to customers - i.e. it should be optimized for conversions.
Your business plan lays it all out. It details what you sell and where your profit comes from; how much inventory you’ll have on hand and where you’ll store it. It lays out your return policy — and you’ll need one of those. Most important, your business plan details your total start-up cost, from your ad campaign to Web designer to monthly server fees.
